Gastronomica Apocalyptica was developed for You Are Here festival 2016. A speculative dinner party that invited participants to imagine the future of food in the face of environmental crisis. Guests crunched on bugs, slurped on seaweed and jellyfish and tasted delicious native Australian ingredients all while sharing a free-wheeling conversation about how we'll negotiate the next century.

The Fair Food Challenge is using the power of students and universities to create a fair, healthy and accessible food system. We want institutions that procure food that's fair to producers and the environment; manage their organic waste; empower students with food skills and promote research into better food futures.

A Community Kitchen is a group of people who meet on a regular basis to plan, cook and share healthy, affordable meals. Community Kitchens are for everyone. People of all skill levels and background are welcome. I facilitate a Community Kitchen in Carlton at the Kathleen Syme Library and Community Centre on Tuesday afternoons. I love talking about fair food! I've been involved in lots of great conversations. For example I was on Unimelb's Sustainability Plan 2016-2020 forum and took part in the school's program for Environmental Film Festival Australia. I was a guest for the Global Ideas Forum and I've been a guest speaker for undergraduate nutrition students at Monash Uni. I've spoken about creativity, collapse and environmental crisis for Critical Animals.
